End of Term

At the end of the term we review the goals we set ourselves. Today we had a learning conversation about the goals and if they were achieved. We completed them and put them in our collection book to show our family.

A Fossil Visitor

Last week we had a visit from a real life scientist, Julian from GNS who shared with us fossils he has collected in his travels. It was very interesting to hear the  history of his finds.

He carefully explained where he found the rocks and what they contained. One had the jaw of a real dinosaur- an Ichthyosaurus.

We all want to go to the beach and look for interesting rocks.

Actually Making the Fossil.

On Wednesday Miss Savage and 3 of her amazing helpers guided us through the process of actually following the instructions to make the fossils.

We have to wait for 2 nights to see how our fossils really turn out.And we can't wait.
