EOTC Week - Smarts and Wheels

This morning we had our Smarts rotation. Room 8 had Art Smart and students painted with the new watercolour paints. In the afternoon we had our wheels fun.

Miss Savage and Mrs Skilton are very clever at fixing bikes which was very helpful.

We had a fantastic day at Days Bay on Monday. Although it was raining at school it only rained a little and then it got hot. We made sandcastles, had a swim and played games at the park.

Celebration of Learning

What a busy time we had in Room 8 while all the students showed their parents all their lovely work. There was lots of talking and laughing. Parents were very impressed with all the effort and creativity showing in the books and wall displays.

Well done Room 8!

Stitching - The Beginning

We started our stitching this morning by learning how to thread a needle, tie a knot and do a simple running stitch. Learning to stitch on mesh is great as you can easily unpick it and start again. I wonder what we will make ?

Summarising Data

We continued our Statistics investigations today with a dice activity and worked with a partner. We are learning to collect data using tally marks and turn our data into a bar or column graph.
