Water colour Fish

As part of the Carnivals of the Animals we listened to a piece of music about fish in an Aquarium. Using the upside down sketching method we drew our own aquarium with our beautiful fish. Then we carefully painted them using watercolours and just to make them pop we outlined them with a black ink pen.

Assembly Week 8

On Friday at assembly, Fraser played  Cockles and Mussels on the piano. He played with style and confidence and we were proud of him. 

Lovely Fish

We finally finished painting and assembling our Sea Week fish. Everyone has done a great job sharing their writing about how we can protect the fish in the sea.

• don't drop litter as it can get washed down the drain and be swallowed by sea creatures
• just take the number of fish you need to eat
• use a fishing rod not a set net
• be careful with equipment falling from boats e.g. fish hooks and oil.

P J Day

Tuesday this week was pj day for Vanuatu.We raised about $50 in our class to help people in Vanuatu recover from Cyclone Pam.

 They need clean water and somewhere safe to live.

Wonderful Banners

Last week's homework was to make a banner with the school, home or family motto.We got an amazing collection displayed on the wall.They were all creative and different .

An Amazing Lunch

Lucky Lachlan for having an amazing lunch on Monday. His mum must have spent ages making it. See if you guess what all the parts were made of. Everything was packed in a beautiful Bento Box .
