Room 8 Fishing Champion 2012

Luca was only person in Year 4 to catch a fish. It was not very big but it wiggled a lot.  We threw it back into the sea to get a lot bigger! He is our fishing champion of 2012.
Congratulations Luca!

EOTC Week

We started with a Days Bay day on Monday with sandcastles, games and swimming and then on Tuesday a something different morning followed by a wheels afternoon.

Wednesday was the driftwood fort building on the beach and water games in the afternoon.

On Thursday we made our fishing rods and went fishing at the Rona Bay wharf.  Luca was our Year 4 fishing champion as he caught our only fish of the day.

Friday is our games day at Bishops park with as swim at the pool.

What a busy but fun week everyone and many thanks  to the parents who have given up their time to help us with our activities. We really appreciate your help.

How Many People can fit in a Square Metre?

What a challenge in Maths today! Students had to make a square metre of newspaper and see how many people could fit on it.
Probably the right answer is 8 sitting and 15 standing but squashed up. There were lots of different answers and it was fun to try out.
